coolness! you should try out shiai with your senpais first. it will help you gain some ideas bout how the competition is like. i just got my 1kyu and waiting til the right time for my shodan. it's pretty fast for you to reach 5kyu within a year!!

You think so...my very good friend from the kendo club already reached 4 kyu in 10 monts(sorry..I don`t speak engl. so well)...in fact..in the club there are onely 2 people wit 2kyu...everyone else are...like me or Bo san(my very good friend)
Yeah I tryed shiai with my senpais before one weak...it was so...hard to make ipon...when we are in tsubadzere they always do hiki men...mhen I thy to protekt my self from men I get hiki do or kote...and..that big step...fumikomi-I can`t do it...I thy my best but i couldn`t make it!
My difens is low...my atack is even lower I tryed my best but I still can`t do it...what is wrong..what should I do?

usually if your senpai is taller than you, don't aim for men. try kote or do cuts.

if in tsubazeriai, don't protect men. if they do hiki men, they move backwards, so you should chase forward, and suriage/harai and go for small men, kote, or do ^^ i usually practise on hiki men, so i know what others will do to me if i let it open. haha.

don't forget tsuki too!! although mine is all over the place. no control x.x

Well yeah-I'm the shortest girl in the club in my town...in the hall city there are 7 clubs and there are 2 or 3 people that are tall just like me-everyone else are taller =_=* It so~ hard to make ipon...but I won't give ut-I'll train hard(sorry for the mestakes...I'm not good at engl.)
