EDIT!: Haha, I didn't win any prizes, but I did get two awards~(More than anyone else =w=~) I got 'Best Use of Moves Award' and 'THE GOGGLES THEY DO NOTHING' Which may or may not be the reason why I put goggles on him in the first place.Well it was that and the fact he looks good in goggles. lD

A knock came from the door. That wasn't enough to wake the slumbering farmer, but what followed did- a constant barrage of knocking and what seemed to be faint yelling. He slowly sat up in his bed, glaring at the door with one eye open. "This better be important..." The pink-haired man growled, sliding out of his comfortable sheets and walking over to the door just as the annoying knocking ceased. Nevertheless, he flung the door open and gave whoever it was walking away a death stare. They turned, noticing his expression but not seemingly intimidated- perhaps because of the bunny pjs he was wearing and that fact that his hair was pink like cotton candy. It was a woman, with big glasses and a very yellow outfit- and she announced to him that she needed help- a rescue team to be precise. The ticked expression mellowed on his face; had it been a trivial matter he would have crawled back into bed, but this appeared to be serious.

"There was this star, and it crashed on the island not far from the shore here- but inside it was a person! I saw it!" She claimed, earning a rather incredulous look from Nathan. But then again, it was Raccolto, and strange things did tend to happen more often than not. With a sigh, he gave her a nod that he'd help out. He returned into his house in a hurry, finding as he went to his dresser that his two companions were up with worried expressions. He put on his shirt as he started to explain, but it wasn't much. "Okay, so apparently someone spotted a figure in a crashing star or something and wants to check it out, so-" He buttoned up his shirt, not minding he had done them one hole off, and slipped on his usual pink sweater vest. As he made his way to the door, either not minding that he was still clothed in his bunny pajama bottoms, or not noticing, he finished what he was saying. "You two stay guard here in case something weird goes down." And with that, he was out the door, sprinting to the rather far away shoreline without a second thought.

He glanced around, taking a breather as he searched the beach and then the horizon. He spotted the island that the woman was talking about- but it was so much farther than he had originally thought! There was a small noise, but he dismissed it. "How do I even get over there to help? If there really was a person, they could be hurt..." A few other people were at the edge of the ebbing waters, seemingly working out a plan to get there or already working on it. Nathan took a deep breath and decided to come up with some kind of solution himself. The same sound rung in his ears again, but once more he ignored it. "Well, maybe I can... no..." There was the noise again, and he tried not to be distracted by it. But before he could continue with the train of thought, a fairly loud 'BUDEW!" grabbed his attention away.

"Dahlia?!" He exclaimed, surprised that the little Budew had followed and traveled all the way over there, looking a bit out of breath but otherwise fine. "Bud!" She chirped in almost an annoyed tone, her expression was definitely one of anger. "...Do you want to help out too?" Nathan asked softly, assuming that's why she had followed. "Budew!" The bud-like Pokemon responded in affirmative, appearing now to be fiercely determined to do so. Nathan's lips split into a small smile, but he started to shake his head. "Well, that's great, but I don't think we can-" He paused mid-sentence, noticing the long, half-buried driftwood beside his pet. "Wait... I have an idea."

Dahlia watched as her owner went over to the seemingly useless washed-up junk and dig it out from under the sandy dunes. Following his large strides up to the foaming brine, she glanced up curiously at him. Placing the wood on the water, he motioned for her to step on- after all the Budew was pretty light. Dahlia jumped up onto the driftwood, finding it floating fine, but wondering how Nathan was to board. "I can't use Psychic on myself..." He started, a big, 'I'm a genius' grin on his face. Dahlia wobbled a bit as the driftwood started to float above the water, a blue glow surrounding it- as well as Nathan's eyes. "But I can use it for us to stay afloat!" With that, he jumped over the Budew and landed on the other end of the driftwood, miraculously not breaking or sinking it. He dug out a pair of goggles he had (after all, he assumed he was going to swim or something) and fixed them over his eyes, adjusting them. "Okay, on my say, I need you to use Solarbeam/Energy Ball!" He told Dahlia, and the little Budew smiled and nodded. He turned to face the island, which was faintly glowing a soft yellow. "Ready Dahlia?" "Budew!" A smirk played on his lips now. "GO!"

Suddenly, they were skimming the tops of the waves, water splashing over the sides and onto the two. The Wigglytuff let out a happy laugh, proud that his idea worked. He balanced out a bit, keeping concentrated on using his Psychic and seeing Dahlia give it all she had to propel the makeshift surfboard forward. "Here we come!"

(NEW!) Nathan kept his eye on the now approaching island, glad that they were able to get there fairly quickly- that is, until a yellow glow flashed in his eyes, blinding him momentarily. The Psychic wavered and petered out, causing the board to splash down into the water, sending both Nathan and Dahlia into the cold water. Spluttering at the surprise swim, Nathan realized they were close enough to shore. He turned to the Budew, who was having a lot of trouble keeping afloat. He quickly lifted her out of the water, hoping she was alright as he rather slowly paddled to shore. The board floated off, and Nathan watched it as he approached the beach. "Looks like we'll need a new way to get home..." He muttered, being able to stand in the now shallow water and making his way up to the sand. He placed his Budew down, kneeling to make sure she was okay. Before he knew it, however, the Budew started to glow herself, and within moments, was a lovely Roselia. "Ros!" She chirped, happy at her evolution. Now she could assist Nathan in getting back home, and perhaps even help the person who crash-landed using her Aromatherapy. Nathan grinned. "You evolved!" He glanced ahead, seeing a faint glow ahead. "We'll celebrate when we get home, let's go see if this person is alright!" Dahlia nodded, and they started to head to crash site in hopes that whatever happened they could help.

Plus Dahlia recently evolved so I thought I might as well include it near the end of the story and stuff ;u;

I worked really hard on this and I think it's one of the best works I've done! It was time consuming but worth it, I'm very proud on how it turned out. ;u;
The reason I put Solarbeam/Energy Ball is because someone brought up a good point- Solarbeam wouldn't exactly last long since, well, the sun isn't out, so I opted for either a mix of the two moves or just Dahlia using Energy Ball as she would Solarbeam. I hope that isn't too confusing!

Total Time Spent: Approx. 10 hours (no kidding, I worked on it all day long...because I have no life )
