Almost 2 months has passed since my last drawing. As soon as I finished "Eye of Decay" back in the beginning of August month, I started on a new drawing right away during my vacation in Norway. But it's not this one you see now.. It was a drawing of a vampire, but I became very unsatisfied as I kept on drawing and realized that I just made it look uglier and uglier...
So I ended up scratching that project.So instead I made this one, which I think was worth all the time and effort I put into it. I started working on it about 2 weeks ago and finished it this night ^^
It's my second pencil portrait of Susan Janet Ballion, better known as Siouxsie Sioux, my favourite female musician
The result turned out the exact way I wanted it to be/look like, which is extremely rare for me 
The preluding quote on the above is a piece of the song "Face to Face", made by Siouxsie & the Banshees, which really caught my ear when I listened to it. It was very inspiring during the whole process. Like always you're of course free to interpret the drawing the way you want ^^Materials used:
- Pencil (0.5)
- Graphite pencils (4H, F, HB & 3B)
- Waterbase permanent marker (Red)
Time spend:
- Ca. 20 hours

I am so in love with this one. the shading is amazing a love how you can create a personal glance in a persons eyes. The eyes...I mean, they are SO beautiul. (SHE is beautfil, love her)
Good that you desides to put som color on the nails, it creates a frame around her face and makes the portrait more Alive.
