Halloween Special: The M5 as Supervillains!

Signus was once the greatest hero of his time. He met his match at the hands of Lord Akei, a galactic conqueror fixated on the nature of hopelessness and absolute submission. Akei tried Signus' very virtues time and again, but it took the slaughter of thousands, including Signus' family, for the hero to finally break. Rather than be crippled, Signus was empowered by fury and hatred. Akei wanted to prove to Signus that he was no different from himself, and it was thus proven when Signus gave the killing blow to an already incapacitated Akei. From then on Signus came to the belief that the only way to protect the planet from dangers from space and dangers on Earth was to transcend the limited scope of "superhero" and "supervillain". Renamed Star King, he started to inflict the ultimate punishment upon criminals regardless of the severity of their crimes. He formed the Mighty Five to help spread his message of submission to every corner of the world. When the world's governments and heroes refused to accept his demands he did not waver in his next course of action: conquest. While Black Crow led an unstoppable army that toppled every nation it met, Star King began to systematically target and kill every single superhero and supervillain he came across, starting with the deadliest and working his way down, indeed anyone with superpowers was no longer allowed the will to live under Star King's new rule, leaving humanity normal, mortal and weak once more. Star King built his new utopia on distrust of all around him to benefit his needs on their own, much less take care of themselves. He does not even trust his own team and has developed fool-proof plans to take down each Mighty Five member if ever needed to. If news of a rebel group with a super-being in its midst reaches him he does not hesitate to drop down from the spacestation OLYMPUS to kill them. His all-white suit is designed to absorb and store energy from the stars, amplifying his powers in ways never possible on his own.
