Quick portrait painting of a friend's character.I do these occasionally for friend's PnP characters. It's fun starting and finishing a picture in one sitting.

One sitting? That's amazing! There's a lot I like about the picture. How you have the sunlight working off the scales is wonderful and the cloud backdrop is very nice and compliments the lighting. I think your dragon looks really good and I feel like there is some depth to him, but the clothes feel a little flat to me. The clothes don't bother me too badly though, because the focus is on the character which was something you did really well on.

I didn't put much effort into the clothes because the picture was intended primarily for a Steam avatar, and all but the collar and just a tiny bit of the shoulders were cropped out. This version has some of the off-borders stuff. The picture in the workspace looks ridiculous actually, sort of a blob for a torso, like a bust.

Pretty cool, like the eyes you gave him. Has like a melancholy stare to him.
