I've not seen FMA, so I can't say anything about that.
I really enjoy the use of shading and I like the flatness of her hair and outfit. I think the border around the image detracts from the background pattern a little bit, though. =/ Also her left eye should probably still be slightly visible even though it's mostly obscured. But an all-around good piece!

According to the oekaki, it was 1 hour and 46 minuets, but I accidentally refreshed, so that's like a rough estimate.
And I draw super slowly, too. -_-;
