Description
characters from yukito kishiro's gunnm (battle angel in us). Specifically based on the last image in the series, except I wanted to play with the angle and make it look more crucial, but all in all, I think I've failed. Haven't done much in Devart since I joined tho.. so hehe. re-establishing my presence, I guess.conceptualized on paper, realized through photoshop.

i like the fact that it's confusing to tell whos limb is whos. it looks more like they are engulfed in eachother, a part of eachother. it makes it more emotional. I love the colors and the brushed look. awesome

Maybe my taste in art is just different than most, because to me this piece stuck out from all the others, unlike what the DD entry said.
The reason why Gunm remains my all-time favourite manga is because it is emotionally charged in a way no other comic title has been since the original J. O'Barr "the Crow" series.
You took an already emotional scene and moved it up a notch. Well done, kid.

I like the lighting and choice of colors. It makes for a very emotional and deeply thought provoking piece. It's well drawn and I like the sketchyness of it - almost gestural in some parts, but still well formed. I think the lighting and composition of the two people are what gave you such great feedback. Congrats on the DD. It's a great piece.

That is one of the most beautiful scenes in the whole manga, perhaps only the one in which Gally travels with her mind through the whole country just to look at him one more time before melting with the Bahn Ring's structure is more sweet. When she says "I'm sorry.."
And we have people putting such comments.
I'll just put some background info in here.. that scene actually appears only at the end, after YEARS, in which Figure has been searching Gally.
I think it's pretty obvious why the two characters melt in such embrace.

Yes...kinda mind boggling to match the limbs to their owners....but that doesn't make the piece not great...because it's quite amazing. The little you see of her face...is quite touching and this is a hell of a lot better than I could ever dream of.
