Description Grass, in flower, gently swaying in the warm breeze.

I'm not sure what grass it is, but I'm fairly sure it's a native species. I'll get the name later. I was really taken by the focus and colours of this shot. I hope you enjoy.

Taken in the late afternoon sun. Victoria, Australia.

Oh lovely shot Keith! I love the colours, exspecially the enhanced violet and orange. One of the best things about this image is that the colours are blended together extremely well. No one colour is overpowering another, which is a note all photographers should take into consideration when taking macro or nature photography.

The greenery in the background of the image provides a perfect backdrop to the grass, enhancing all the beautiful colours that are already present, but not enhancing them so much as to make them unviewable.

Once again, an absolutely brilliant shot, which just shows the beauty that nature can show to us.

Wonderful soft pastel tones, I love how the greens and pink blend in together, and how only the two front stems of grass are in focus, gives a lovely natural back drop. Nice one Keith!

Thanks! This was an insanely spontaneous shot—So spontaneous, in fact, that I surprised myself. I have this terrible habit of taking photos one after another after another, in the same manner as a crazed tourist in his or her first big city.

I still do that, especially with macro! Better to take too many and find that perfect shot than miss out on the opportunity!

Exactly.

That, and everything has its beauty. Absolutely everything.

Very good photo, Keith. Like it was said in the Critique, the colours blend very well and no one thing is over-powering another.

Agreed, the colors you managed to capture here are fantastic. The individual hairs on the flower head (stem?) are brilliantly clear, providing us with a simply beautiful object.

Fantastic shot!
