Sorry for the horrid resolution... i couldnt find any sane way of taking photos of lightning in the middle of a storm other than from the saftey of my car and taping the entire thing, then later doing frame for frame and taking a screenshot. though i must say this is much better as a flick, heres the photo(the kids ran screaming off the dock screaming "WE'RE GONNA DIEEE") quite humorous.

i'm very jealous as this is something i want to catch but haven't had a good enough storm yet. I'm very impresed...it is a little fuzzy but i think it adds a storm like quality to it....like the rain is pounding down really heavy...well done

Mmm yes it's too bad about the fuzzy quality of the water, dock, and sky, but the lighting looks great. ;D

haha it was amazing... in some of the shots i got there are little squiggles of purple light as though the air was energized

Wow...that's pretty cool. I particularly like that it looks as if the lightning was almost touching the guy on the right side of the picture!

hah, yeah i geuss it does, people keep saying that it seems like its hitting the dock but i can only see it as it was, way out in the center of the water

That's really cool. I can't believe anyone would be fishing or even flying a kite. I mean I always love watching storms, I do it all the time, but flying a kite? That's just dumb.
Anywhooo wonderful picture, very cool. As for a sky pic, I love the way the color kinda goes from white to light blue to dark blue. Much prefered to reds and oranges.

broken? no, thats a spot for the smaller boats to drop people off and stuff... but yeah those kids if you can beleive it were FISHING! (holding a big pole with metal fixtures.) and a guy off to the left was FLYING A KITE! i couldnt beleive it, i was almost certain i was going to get some footage of sombody being hit
