I just finished watching this movie on blu-ray and during this scene I thought it would be neat if he came face to face with the monster burning through the door. I'm glad I'm not the only one to picture it this way.

I love this movie! One of the scariest monsters ever! And I like how you brought this 'missing scene' to life. I tried to imagine what did Morbius really have to face when he saw his evil self, the ID, and what did it really do to him?! This is a great interpretation!

I know!!! I wish more younger people would watch these 'old' movies and get a feel for what used to be.
The art, expression, dialogue, real stories! This movie is soooo under-rated and just plain unknown now-a-days.
I was just glad to find a sprinkling of art for it here on DA.

Excellent work on this illustration, You've captured the monster from the Id very nicely indeed. Its my favourite sci-fi film from that era full of class from the fantastic work they did on the effects to all the great ideas and dialogue in the story.

Yeah, it's really an impressive film. I was pleasantly surprised at just how dang well it held up when I watched it again.
Thank you!
