Description Old design , new sketch.

One of the first shotgun designs to be produced specifically for the Third War, the Type-2 became a staple of pump action shotguns throughout. The earlier version with wooden stock and pump was highly prized for it's high effectiveness in assisted melee and close combat. Very reliable and low maintenance, it later became the standard issue shotgun for the AFA, AFN, and AAF - the Anthroflux army, navy, and airforce.

Towards the end of the third war a synthetic stock and pump were produced, which could be made in virtually any camouflage pattern. A heatshield was also made available, which could in turn allow most of the barrel to be covered in camouflage netting.

Other variations of the original included a "tactical" modification kit which included a weaver rail mount in place of the standard rail sights, a new replaceable front sight, full-length magazine, optional pistol-grip and collapsable stock, and a pump able to mount a vertical grip.

Unofficially, several small-businesses have modified the Type-2 to be chambered in other gauges including 8, 10, 14 and 20 gauge, as well as rifled barrels for 10, 12, and 16 gauge slugs.

Nice shotgun! I'd like to be on there with this gun, too.

Okay, now I realize how much this thing reminds me of the Russian KS-23 riot shotgun, which uses its own unique type of ammunition, a 23mm shotshell.

Thanks!
I may end up modeling this sometime; it's one of my favourite designs for Epiverse. So it's possible you could see it in CSS sometime in the future ;3

Haha, thank you!

Original was based off of the M37, good to know I got the feel of that classic shotgun down in here.
