Description I tried my hand at prop making for fun and i found that i actually really enjoyed it!

keep in mind i do this purely for the joy of it and by no means do i claim that i am a pro at this stuff...

either way here i made a lifesize "to be worn" omnitrix from the cartoon series ben 10!

my nephew loves the show but hates the omnitrix toy watch or whatever because it doesnt look the same or something.... so i made one for him

i used a plastic tube that you can get in any hardware store and a pack of ready to use air dry lightweight modling clay that can be bought at any craft or art supply store.

i molded it as best i could using whatever pictures i could find off the net, when it goes from terracotta to white thats just a primer/basecoat to help the later paint stick... being an amature i wasnt sure if paint will peel.

i will post picture when i have completed painting it. i have a feeling i might need a clear matt finish spray paint when im done just to be sure to seal the paint and avoid peeling when its done.

dont worry about the inside of the tube i have a really comfy foam padding which i will cut to fit for it so that it sits more securely on the wrist and avoid chaffing, will sort that part out when i get to it.

Well see how goes!
