Oh sorry to hear you've put on weight, I did this diet... and it totally worked for me to lose weight before the wedding.. I only did two weeks running and lost most of what I wanted to lose....and also can happily say it changed my metabolism, so after doing the diet felt my stomach had shrunk considerably... so never felt the need to eat that much, and also felt more energic on the days I was doing it... I had red tea (pu-erh) while doing the diet, and wow... that totally changed me.... they say excercise is encouraged, but I wouldn't over do it while dieting, at least not on the three days a week that you're dieting, as you may feel very weak the morning after. Some people recommend it, other don't, read the thread, towards half of it, the person that tried it for three days lost 6 lbs all together in the first week. To me it works, and it has icecream on it! couldn't get any better for me.... with tuna and frankfurters.... and cheddar cheese, it didn't feel such a pain to do it, and the best, the other 4 days of the week you're free to eat your normal stuff with moderation! www.netmums.com/coffeehouse/wo…

I know, I did it while I was at work, and all my friends looked at me ... like I was bit obsessed with losing weight... lol.. eating only a slice of bread and tuna, but funily enough because your stomach kind of shrinks already by the first lunch... it kind of fills you up. That diet doesn't say all the other things mine had... mine said... the toast to be dry (no butter) and the teas and coffees to be black (with no milk) and that was the worst part of the diet for me... I cooked the same for my husband.. but then added other nice things for him.... and my husband is already too slim!! but he didn't lose weight as he ate whatever he wanted for lunch. It's totally worth the try as at least it's only three days... and you'll notice by the end of the third day how your clothes fit you lose.. and also your weight has gone down. I did it 5 weeks in my life and at different times... not all in a row.. two before getting married.. then another spare week before the wedding... and then I got pregnant, the only reason why I had to try it, tried it while breastfeeding but I forgot to add up the maths, as baby was taking at least 500calories away from me already! so I felt very week and had to leave it... then tried a couple of weeks once he gave up breasfeeding. But by then I was already on the same weight I had when I got pregnant, so gradually and besides the pregnancy my metabolism has kind of shifted, now I eat sweets and all that, cakes and all sorts, but because I have a faster metabolism it seems like I don't put weigh that easy.. but also kind of eat a lot healthier too... salads or healthy homemade soups for lunch all days and then dinner with husband which is the main big meal of the day in this country... pasta, pizza, chilli con carne, those are the fattening, the rest is usually fish or chicken with vegetables either in the oven or fried... (except when we have restaurant food)!
wow.. you were very slim!! I'm not even 53 myself! still on 54,3, 53.8 on a good morning, I'm 1'64 height, but yes, I think my bone structure is heavy, I have thick bones...I have been 68 kilos heavy the most.. so kind of inverted now we are... and well, it's hard, but you got to love yourself and fight for it.. also your husband will be pleased, but mainly for your own self respect, also you'll feel sexier too!. You may not need to be 48 again... but 55 could be perfect for you.

lol!! very difficult then!! but well I guess if you kind of try to keep it, it will still make you lose more than if you didn't try... only that if you mix other food with it it may take you longer to lose the weight, or you could balance it out, if you're doing diet and something really nice and sweet is tempting you... eat the sweet but then don't have the ice cream at night, I cheated with my coffees, I had them with milk and a spoon of sugar, it didn't make much difference in the end. Yes.. we also have a terme for coffee with icecream in Spain called "Black and white"
