Description

Did some new work for this character which I felt was much more fitting than the previous submission. Coloring and composition is unfortunately amateurish, but I'm doing my best to learn every day. I can at least say that I believe my linework has improved somewhat, as well as my general proportions for human figures. Just a little over six months now that I've started drawing, but only about half of that I've been coloring.

Inquisitor Zadie Tyrell of Ordo Antiqua has made many friends and enemies in her many years; as for friends, not all can be considered to be the savory sort. As an explorer, salvager, archaeologist, and sociological scholar, Inquisitor Tyrell has always been fond of human technological advancements, particularly those which pre-date the Adeptus Mechanicus or otherwise stand in mixed light. For many Magi who exist in the turbulent grey zone of experimentation and innovation that runs contrary to the established cult, a friend can be found within the curious spirit of Inquisitor Tyrell. While not technically a radical, her relationship with technology has raised many questions within select factions of the Inquisition and the Adeptus Mechanicus. This image is not helped by the ancient voidship she maintains, the Wrath of Albia, which pre-dates the Great Horusian Heresy. The machine-spirit of this vessel has long claimed the lives of previous operators to the point that the Mechanicus considers it a "cursed and hateful vessel, a spirit born only of malice and contempt for the hand of humanity." Strange, many remark, that she has somehow come to terms of cooperation with this frightful and ancient voidship.

Any suggestion that she maintains a private interest in abominable-intelligence is nothing more than fictitious hearsay meant to slander a venerable Inquisitor of the Imperium.

As for her personal presentation, Tyrell enjoys the trust and mutual patronage of numerous Magi that assist in augmentation for her crew and retinue, as well as herself. Some of these capabilities are subtle and artful; others, such as her mechadendrites, remain outwardly pure to the spirit of human biological advancement.
