I'm not going to be cliche and mention my title-giving abilities. I'm not.Traditional media! I swear to you, it looks a lot better in real life. First of all, my scanner appears to be color blind and insists on making everything sixteen shades more dull than it really is. There's about seven layers of color on just one of his paws, and my scanner picks up two. Anyway.
I tried taking away the icky paper background, and I tried adding a quick cheap digital one, but trust me, it looks best with the icky paper background.
I only did this to be a quick drawing to practice my ten thousand new colored pencils on, to see if I could color Faun's silver hair efficiently.
Turns out, no. I can't. But it turned out better than it shows up here.
I'm not going to complain about the scanner messing up the shirt, because I really did color it that lazily, its just ten times more obvious on the computer than it is on paper.
So, after all that complaining, why am I uploading this? Cause Faunus= <3
And I'm too lazy to do anything more.
Faun in a diaper. Word. Peace my home fries.

I know, drawing younger people/things is twice as hard as drawing normal people. They've got a whole nother set of proportions, and I've always been horrible at the little baby hands and feet. (;
I got to skimp out on the 'feet' aspect here, though.
The only thing really I know about little people are make their heads and eyes bigger in comparison to everything else. (<

I always have trouble with proportions sometimes. Another bad thing I do is that with the men, they sometimes end up looking like women because their hips are too damn narrow! XP They look almost anorexic...

(< Me too! I've been drawing more females than not since I was little, since I always thought they were easier, so I just barely got started drawing /guys/. Every time someone sees one that I drew, they're like 'that's a guy? I thought that was a girl'
I don't think I'll ever be able to get guys down pat. >D But the skinny girly-figured guys are better than steroid beef-boys, anyway, right? xD So it's all good.

Yeah, I usually don't use over-muscular macho men unless they're like the main villain's henchmen and I have this bad habit of making the villains into sexy bishonen.

I think it's almost some unspoken law that the bad guys have to be all vain and mysterious and sexy about it. Otherwise, what's the fun in them?
And muscly guy just screams 'henchman' anyway. ;/ Unless he's got some adorable boyish face and nice hair. Then he's alright.

I mean, look at that new show "Avatar: The Last Airbender". Have you seen the so-called bad guy on there, with the scar Prince Zuko?

I think I know what you're talking about. I caught glimpses of that Avatar show when my brother and sister were watching it in the living room, he's got long hair in a ponytail, right? And he's a kid with this scar over his eye?
Maybe people are starting to realize that with hot villains, more people will watch. ;3 I will at least. xD

Every good superhero show/comic/anime/anything needs things:
- a good plot
- lack of singing/musical moments
- lack of plot holes
- super powers
- a very very sexy villain that falls in love with the super heroine in the end XD (...well, I tend to this with my comics. probably should consider it a bad habit right about now)

Nice, intricate plots that draw you in.
No crappy bursts of song that remind you of Disney movies and make you turn it away in disgust.
Plot holes give you headaches. And nobody likes listening to a story about a normal person. xD They've gotta have /something/ going for them.

I have a ton of bad habits in writing. Like making them super-dramatic and always having a beloved character die. xD I'm all for gore and sad endings.
Maybe that makes me a bad person. (<

Ever seen Digimon season 2? Think of Ken Ichijouji/Dejimon Kaizer:
Ken's brother was the center of his family. He was perfect. Ken was ignored and his brother (I think his name was Osamu) got all the attention while Ken was ignored. Ken wished his brother would die. Then Ken's brother was hit by a car and did die. Ken felt horrible about what had happened to his brother and all those negative feelings built up. When he went to the Digital World, another personality formed and he became Dejimon Kaizer.
...or it could be one of those things like in Cowboy Bebop:
Spike and Vicious were friends. Then Julia came along and they both fell in love with her. Vicious killed Julia and now Spike and him are enemies.
...or something else:
Let's say Faunus is changing. He gets strange powers that he can't control. He sees visions that are disturbing. He is left alone in the world - his friends leave him and he depends on his brother. His brother is convinced by someone else (let's say an adult - like a teacher or head preist or councilman or somebody with power) that his brother is going crazy. Faunus' brother thinks he's doing the right thing when he sends him to a santitorium. Faunus feels betrayed as he's deemed insane and everything goes downhill fro there...

It has to have something to do with his brother. Otherwise, what'll Arawn be doing during this whole mess of Faunus-bad-dom?
Or since Arawn's such a macho tough guy, he could get like... put into a coma or something, and Faunus gets all determined to take his place and grow up like Arawn would have grown up, so he could be like.... how his older brother would have been. ;o
Except he gets all overly dark and sinister about it and takes it all out of hand even though he never really intended to turn out that way.
And then Arawn would wake up and see what he'd done and what had gone wrong and have to bring his brother back to reality and snap him out of it. ;3
Or maybe... something less corny than that. xD I'm too uncreative to come up with a good story for the two of them.

It's hard trying to draw an innocent little boy character into a big-bad man and still have it look like him. ;/
Hm. Or maybe it doesn't have to be a religion, more just... the style of government that rules their lives, where a select few people are a higher class and the rest are left in the dust to live under their rule.
And that's what Arawn gets into and Faun gets rejected from. ;/

But I can't figure out what would look good pants-wise, considering he had big paws. They're all fine and good for a cute little boy, but they don't go well with a bad guy appearance.
Unless I change them from cutesy little paws to big talon beast paws. ;o

Okay, now we have Faunus turning into a wolf. We have the dissappearance of brotherly love. Now, when shall Faunus turn evil? I have this superhero/villain oriented cliche in my head where Faunus gets dumped into nuclear waste and is able to become a wolf. I don't know why. It came of nowhere really, but they use radioactive waste as an excuse for superpowers too often now.
