Description
The stationary predator that waits for it's pray to come near to the food source (melon) and get stabbed by it's big mouth part
Feeds by stabbing the body and sucking in the inner fluids trough the openings in it's "beak", also can absorb the body of the creature through the "roots" underground

Had that idea for a while, hard to put on paper but ye, took the inspiration from the "Xen tree" from Half Life
