Alli is probably the most tedious character to draw. So many layers of colors are required, and due to the shape and patterns of her body she can end up being really challenging! I made the first pen outline on Monday, and was only able to finish it a couple of hours ago. Then again, I was camping (aka being eaten alive by mosquitoes, getting next to no sleep and having trouble breathing because of the high mountain altitude) so I wouldn't have been able to do much more anyways. I'm not particularly proud of this drawing though. Everything but the wings are just fine, but I really messed up with the feathers. Sometimes I draw wings really really well and other times they just look kind of crummy. But now I know why and how to fix it! Expect more drawings of detailed wings in the future... that is, if my pen starts working again.
