I've had a lot of people draw Kyl, but one thing that always frustrated me was that so many people didn't get the order of the tails right. So I drew a picture where you can clearly see the correlation of the color. The purple gem and tail are on his left/our right, the green is in the middle and the red it on his right/our left.I accidentally messed up the anatomy of his wings, making them too close together, but it's not that noticeable luckily. I've never really been super satisfied with my wing drawings though... oh well.

This design is very interesting and involved. Is there a meaning behind the different tips on his tails?

The meaning of the tails is the same as his three forehead gems (only two of which are visible in this drawing). They represent creation (purple), preservation (green) and destruction (red), which are the three roles he has for his planet. The majority of his fur is light green because he's in his preservation phase; during his creation of the planet he was light purple and as he destroyed it he was a light peachy red.

But what about the tips? Why are they drawn the way they are?

I drew the interesting shapes because at the time I loved drawing intricate designs, but I'm fairly sure I also gave them symbolic meaning. If I remember correctly, the purple one resembles an axe because of his duty to "carve" his way into history or some other crap like that (It's kinda dumb, but I was 12 when I first made this stuff up), the green one has the four things branching off because of the four "Queen's Representatives" (Alli, Evie, Aquamarine and The Mysterious Girl, who were all extremely influential at that point in history) all existing at the same period of time, and then the red one with the three branching shapes likely represented the end of the three phases, with the spikes representing his emotional turmoil. As for why there were two rows on the red one, it was probably just to make it more visually interesting. I made this stuff up a long time ago. When I originally designed them they were black and grey, but laziness took over and I turned them white.
