So, I’ve been thinking a lot lately and I’ve finally decided to retire my original fursona, Winterblaze, and have Daisy take her place.

As much as I adore my OG bobcat girl, I just don’t feel that same connection with her anymore. I’ve grown away from her. When I look at myself in the mirror I don’t see her anymore (furry alert lmao) and instead I see more of Daisy.

I’ve grown up with Winterblaze and have had the pleasure to meet many MANY people through her. Some that I’m thankful enough to still call friends to this day and others that have severely scarred me and have affected me mentally. So when I look at her it’s hard to only shine a light on the good times. That being said she’s still a very important character in my life, so I’d like to retire her with some dignity and allow a new character take her place who I feel can represent me better now that I’m older and in another mindset.

With that being said, it’s not like I’ll never draw Blaze again because I definitely still love her. She’ll just be taking the backseat from now on when I need to represent myself within my artwork.

I’ve tweaked Daisy’s hair a bit so she has my hairstyle. She’ll of course still have her stylized curly-curl hair but I needed to see her look like me just a tiny bit ♥️
