Description
So this is my entry for a contest of an Amazing Artist who always was my inspiration and Who's art encouraged me to try my own skills on digital drawing.
It's for :
contest.
Arela is her OC and the theme of the contest is to draw one of Sonja's OC's as a character from a fairytale.
As a fan of Arela I couldn't pick anyone else for this task!
And her attitude made me look for a dark character... so I picked the Queen of Hearts from Alice in Wonderland
I hope You'll like my version of her as much as I enjoyed drawing her.
I mixed the shading to make it more detailed and interesting.
Note: Don't look at flamingos, these are the best i could come with... i suck at drawing animals ;/

If I can give a critique, I'd probably change the background into something else than red, so that you fully can see the beauty of her dress

I still can't make myself to like these pink birds over here.
And about hte background... That's why I gave her a bit of black shadow to make her more stand out.

Mmm, I'm not sure about the colour actually. I'm tempted to sugest white, since cards are red/white or black/white. But I'm not sure how it would look with the rest. Either that or use another type of red. Or you could make Arela glow, I don't know XD
