Description A recent study has shown that the skull of neovenator contained little trails for nerves and its snout was therefore very sensitive. It was probably used to feel while applying bite force and control same to avoid breaking its own teeth by biting on bone. Another usage would be to feel warmth to make sure a nest with eggs had the right temperature. It could have also been used for social interactions, touching mates with the snout like we do with our hands, but I am not certain wether these animals would be intelligent enough for that.

I'm not sure if you've done them before, but have you considered reconstructing some abelisaurs?

It's definetly on my list but I'm not quite sure how exactly I want to reconstruct them

I think about that every day. I don't know whether to make them scaly all over, or just on the body with fleshy legs and the occasional quill.
