I don't like Kraehe nearly as much as I like Tutu, but I felt if I showed a swapped Tutu I'd have to do Kraehe as well. I did most of this late last night/early this morning and scanned and fixed it up today. Her hair was honestly the part that stumped me the most - it would have to have white feathers like Tutu, but without the obvious wing look. I ended up just drawing the outline of her hair and marked off the bottom part to have as the feathers. I also lightened her eye color to more of a pink, and gave all the tones a warmth to contrast with the cold I gave for Tutu-as-Kraehe. I tried to keep Rue's sense of refinery and restraint in her expression while still showing a gentle optimism that Tutu has. I thought of that screenshot of Tutu where she's looking up and smiling and touching her pendant.
I'd like to do a full-body pic of the two together some time where I can show my design for their whole swapped outfits.
Copic, Prismacolor, and Letraset marker for color with gel pen for white highlights. Background and clean-up done in GIMP.
