[link] I just got a hold of photoshop 5 and, this is the first time I've ever done anything like this so I'd love some advice on how to improve my photoshop skills.

wow this is photoshop? It looked a lot like colored pencil to be because the colors came out so soft. Great teqnique! (however you spell that word!)

Incredible! I think that compared to the B&W version, you can definetly identify everything instead of guessing what's what... kind of hard to explain when I speak spanglish

i don't know how to use photoshop for coloring.. im a dummy. i only use it to smooth out my pencil shading and change the contrast etc.. btw, love this one!

Everything is so perfect except the figures I really think that they don't have the details everything else has. Donno if you can change it might just be a thought for next time.

This is so detailed, it must've taken ages. It looks like an illustration from a book. The colouring and the colours themselves look great,and really work with the image.

I've seen the original penciling of this picture and this piece is fantastically rendered! The vibrant colour of the Swamp dragon and the great use of colour in the characters and scenery are the best I've seen in quite a while! The woman's hair seems to be a bit off colour though, as though the shadows and highlights were swapped somewhat?
But other than that, It's a fantastic piece of artwork.

Yes I had some trouble with her hair, it just wasn't working then I couldn't get it to go back

wow i really like the colouring of this looks liek uv done it in pencils rather than photoshop but you should take this as a compliment as it looks really gd. i like the buildings

very nice work with the colours. though I think the dragons head needs to have its main colour as purple to fit in with the rest of the body otherwise It just wouldnt fit properly with me

O,O Oh my gosh! Are you sure this is the first time you've used Photoshop? XD This is terrific! How long did this take you? Please tell me you shaded in pencil first!

It took we about 12 hours to finish it. I did it by selecting certain objects and changing the color balance of the pencil and I also use brightness and contrast tool, the hue and satturation as well as fooling arournd with several other tool it was alot of fun and will do more in the future
