nice design, but the header above the navigation is eating too much space vertically, with nothing but Logo there, it would be good to keep it a little smaller vertically to have more content above the fold. makes it more practical that way.

Thanks. If I did it again, I would place the menu bar next to logo. I must agree, there is too much whitespace in the header.
