I really love it! I feel that him holding the book is a nice addition. You really did well in this! Once Season 7 comes out, I'd like to see you do Henry as an adult! I really love this design!

I am so psyched for season 7.
I don't feel the need to do some characters, like Elsa and Anna or Merida, since their designs are ripped straight from their movies.

I agree. We have plenty of artist who designed them in 2D style. Great poll by the way. However, most have been a tie so far.

I wondered about doing Merida and Mulan together though, and doing Aurora with Phillip.

Nah, Merida is better left. She already looks like her Disney counterpart, just not 2D Animated however, we've got plenty of artists who have pretty much already done Merida in 2D animated style. Besides, Mulan, Aurora and Phillip are great together. I really did enjoy the moments where Aurora and Mulan were together.

I know. I felt extremely sorry for Mulan when Aurora revealed she was pregnant. Damn! You could feel the heartbreak! And they even had to ruin her life more when Ruby and Dorothy ended up together. Mulan just stood there chilling. Will she ever find true love? I doubt Li Shang exists. Not that it would matter since Mulan is gay but still. She deserves a happy ending too.

I seriously hope the revisit her in the next season. And don't make her straight by introducing Li Shang. Mulan and Merida though. There was potential. And they have to bring back Ruby and Dorothy. They can't have one gay episode and call it representation.

Exactly! The other problem with Ruby Slippers was that it just came right out of the nowhere.
I mean, I admire TV shows becoming brave and introducing LGBT characters, especially since I
am bisexual so I can have characters I can relate to, but they didn't really give us more though.
Dorothy and Ruby meet, next thing we know they fall in love.

Ruby rescues Dorothy, wakes her up with true love's kiss and then they kiss, hinting that they
are now a couple. We never see them again. Mulan and Ruby had more than one episode, and
it looked to me that Mulan had a little crush on Ruby.

I was hoping they would be together but Ruby's true love ends up becoming Dorothy. I am still
waiting for a bisexual or gay male character to be introduced in this show. Hopefully Season Seven
will cover that. I think Once Upon a Time is still scared with using LGBT elements in this show. They
still refused to even nod at Swan Queen (Emma x Regina) even though Lana Parrilla - who plays
Regina Mills- also ships them together. I don't mind Captain Swan but I still don't really see any chemistry.
I do have a small thing for Hook here though. He's the type of bad boy I would love to have in real life.

Aside from that, the writers had to be cruel to Mulan by having her crush reject her and then
still don't give her a true love. I DO hope they introduce Li Shang though, just not as Mulan's
love interest. They could have a sort of bromance relationship. Just like how some lesbians and
guys are with each other, as long as the guys are never looking forward to watching their lesbian
friends make out with other women and just be friends with them for who they are as people.

That's the thing, remember the massive attack on Once Upon a Time when Ruby Slippers and
the Mulan Sexuality Reveal episodes aired? Like, people can handle a heart being ripped from
your chest then crushed, and still call it a family show, but then say that LGBT is too adult for
children! I have been bisexual all my life from birth. I even have a major crush on my gay friend.
My point is, even kids need to have LGBT role models.

I loved Ruby Slippers. It was such an amazing episode and it made me so happy despite the out of the blue-ness of it all. Dorothy always ends up being gay in things. At least, she was in Supernatural. I love how that's a Thing. It would be good if they had LGBT male characters as well and I'm happy that they haven't totally finished the series because it does still allow possibilities for more representation.
Since I'm gay-asexual, like, I don't understand the straight relationships and how they work. Like Captain Swan, what how? But Hook is undeniably a beautiful human being and just so nice to watch . Swan Queen is funny coz... Henry has two mums. Like that's pretty gay
They should make Li Shang gay/bi and do the Mulan/Ping thing and Shang fancies her/him. Classic.

My best friend, who is a lesbian, also believes that Dorothy is a lesbian character overall since she has had
no attraction to men or has any semi-romance plot in anything. The closest relationship she has had was
with Scarecrow, but she looked up to him as more of a brother figure than anything else. Maybe it's because
the Scarecrow, Lion and Tin-Man are supposed to represent her three brothers, the Wicked Witch is supposed
to represent that woman who tried to take her dog from her, you get the idea.

Same applies with this whole Elsa and Merida being gay thing. While I can admit that I think Elsa could be
gay, I believe Merida could be asexual. I think she just wants to be an independent woman who doesn't
need any love interest.

To be honest, I kind of thought that Shang did have a small crush on Ping in Mulan. The way he looked at
her kind of seemed suspicious. Maybe he is bisexual? I don't know.

I do think Regina and Emma would look kind of cute together but I'm not entirely a Swan Queen shipper,
nor am I a Captain Swan shipper. I felt that Emma looked great as the independent woman who only relied
on herself. The only person she looks great with is Neal/Baelfire. It sucked that they had to kill him off. To
me, I find Captain Swan kind of shallow. Though, I have always thought that Captain Hook in any story
deserves a love interest, just not this version. He stole a poor man's wife for crying out loud. Or I guess he
just allured her from Rumple since you can't really steal someone.

Back to Swan Queen, I do think it's pretty weird since Regina and Emma are both his moms. Like everytime
Henry calls them both, "Moms!" it makes me think they are a lesbian couple both sharing custody over
Henry. Even Lana thinks it is quite a funny thing.

I always get a bit disappointed when great female characters get love interests. Like Brienne in Game of Thrones. She's a fantastic character. A female warrior but not like feminine Strong Female Character TM. She sort of had male love interests but never acted upon them, keeping her independent which I much prefer. I guess what I want is more butch characters

Or any empowered female characters. Like Wonder Woman, Xena, Merida, Alice from Resident Evil, etc. I feel that these great characters are better single because then they become weak once they gain love interests. I mean, I don't usually care if a character is gay, lesbian or straight, I just want to get connected with  the character and see what they can do.

It's not that they become weak, but it seems to take away some of their power. I read somewhere that giving badass female characters love interests makes them less threatening which kind of makes sense and clicked for me. And yeah, feeling more connected with single characters. Exactly
