the final lore dump is here: this entity made up of bones from miners and researchers alike, and crystals to increase its durabilty and defense against weapons made for the undead. a black ooze can be seen pouring from the head, thus binding its body together. the head is the true parasite. it was originally found encased in a geode within a quarry by miners. news spread quickly and soon various researchers came to inspect it, believing it to be the fossil of an ancient lifeform. only one sample of the geode made it out, because it then woke up. it consumed everyone within the mine. the area was quarantined and then later closed off via man-made landslide. all records of the incident were destroyed in order to prevent any further issues. only the geode sample remained.

and this just about wraps this chapter up. it has been fun, but now we must continue. but not right now, cause i gotta sleep.
