More EdwardxWinry~ <3Haven't been drawing much due to art block and mind block
Recently i started to try developing more on my original characters and story, and these few days i had been trying to draw sceneries settings...like the layout of the school and so on...
Though it's kind of sucky but i will try and see if things works along the way.
If i were successful i might be able to try getting an original manga published within these few years >:3
Btw back to this pic, i was very tempted to draw Ed or Roy sliding their hand along Winry or Riza's hair~~ X3
(it's just so sweet and romantic and sexy at the same time XD )
And therefore this drawing...exists (lol, i don't know what am i typing already, i just suddenly felt very hyper at the moment)
Why so many vague roses in the background?
Because Winry would feel as if recieving 100 roses when someone as thick-headed+insensitive+unromantic like Ed ever give her just one rose(that one beside Ed's left arm)

Anyway, this is such a nice little scene! I agree with you, it's so sweet when couples play with each other's hair. It's such a simple thing but so intimate as well Cx
Your expressions as ever are very, well, expressive (for lack of a better word!). You've got this great peaceful, almost reverent kind of atmosphere going on. My main nitpick is perhaps Ed's hand (the one with the hair) - I think it's that there isn't enough of a change in width from arm to hand. Or it might be the placement of the fingers actually... I'm not quite sure, but it might be worth revisiting. This for example: [link] (even though it's a kid's hand so it's a bit pudgier) I think is the same sort of position you're going for...
Anyway, it's a really nice sweet picture! You're so good with the warm fuzzy romantic pictures~ >w<

About that weird looking posture of Ed's right hand, i was having problems visualising the outcome that i wanted the most...though i don't really know how to describe what i initially wanted in words
(might do some practice sketches to find out)
So, in the end i used this 'simpler', erm, angle
I could have spent more time on this pic to make a better one but i'm being extremely lazy recently, too lazy to make things more presentable/perfect ><

Nah that's perfectly fine! I wasn't sure if you were wanting critique or not, because of this weird new dA system xD;;
But that's a really good attitude! My art professors are always telling me "quality comes with quantity", so it's definitely a good idea to just draw whenever you feel like instead of trying to get everything perfect first try.
So no, not lazy. And really, it's a lovely picture.
