....I actually didn't know deer centaurs were called cervitaurs and had to look it up. Did this a while ago. I'll upload some of my daily sketches here soon too, I'm just...really tired when i just think about having to take photos of them and then adjust them in photoshop xD;;. In the meantime the straight-from-my-phone pictures are up on my instagram and facebook
....i should really get a facebook page instead of just using my personal profile....
Done in watercolour on 4 x 8 inch paper.

A lovely creature and painting - and on such a tiny piece of paper! I'd never herd of cervitaurs before.

a Cervitaur is a Centaur with the body of a deer, regardless of sex. But I agree with you, beautiful drawing!

Heh. Didn't know there was an official term for them, either. I came up with one several years ago and just referred to her as a "deertaur".

I don't think anyone realizes that if this creature was real that the front legs are not beefy enough to carry the weight of a torso like that. Maybe a deer head, but not a whole half body. It would tend to be a bit front heavy.

How about having wheels in the back and one swiveling small wheel in the front, like those bumper cars in a carnival ride? Or like the little carriages on a carousel?
