I'm always seeking out images with reflections and subtle hues of colors that accent the scene. This image of my old neighborhood beach is one of my favorites. Photographed at Corona Del Mar, California's main beach at sunset.Related content

Corona Del Mar (a village of Newport Beach, CA) is about 65 miles North of Del Mar, CA and they are both beautiful places.

I was browsing your gallery yesterday and came across this. I didn't want to forget it so I bookmarked it! Anyways, this is a gorgeous looking photo. As a thumbnail it looked great, but in full view, spectacular! The lighting in this is just lovely and perfect really. I adore those puffy clouds and the overall colours that you managed to capture. The composition is really nice - I like the rocks in the foreground and the trees in the background. The way the clouds and colours reflect on the wet sand is lovely. It's just a really beautifully taken photo, so very serene and relaxing with a nice atmosphere. Looks like a wonderful place. I can't stop staring and drooling at this. Amazing work

Corona Del Mar, CA (part of Newport Beach) holds a special place in my heart. I have many sunsets and seascapes from there. The sunsets are striking but unfortunately it is due to the So. Cal smog. I lived there for 4 years prior to moving to Florida. I hope to find another similar village here in Florida where I can settle down for years to come. Hopefully with less smog, less people, less traffic, and more reasonable housing prices.

It really is a beautiful place. I have literally thousands of images of the Corona Del Mar beaches. I lived there for four years and I miss it but a new chapter of my life had begun and it was time to move on.
