Recently I came across an instance where someone said something that brought something from my past back to haunt me, and from that I realized what did scare me.
I saw a younger me there, a boy in the eyes of the beast who still had to experience what I had gone through.
That was scary... but from it I saw hope, even from this thing from that horror, I know that he will make it through, after all...I did.
