Larry... he looks like Kyo from Fruits Basket... I didn't realize it until I started coloring him. Goodness, that's funny. I promise it's just the expression on his face. He isn't going to always look like that... And no, I'm not too thrilled with how I colored the right side of the page, and I might fix it in the future... but for now I rebel. I DO like how the cross came out though. ^_____^

I'm starting a webcomic, people. Yes, a webcomic. About time huh? Should I draw it backwards like a manga? I'm thinking about buying my own domain name and putting all our (being ~GodsLilTurnish and I) stuff on it, in addition to DA. So every friday, I'll have up another two pages. I'll submit them *bleedman style. I might switch my schedule to be every monday... just because I might want the whole weekend to work on it and submit it sunday night. I dunno. It depends on how my schedule works out. And I'll probably have 'dead QT weeks' like Piro on megatokyo. Considering I'm a full time student and work two jobs.

This particular comic is about focusing in on God, and all of the different things that can distract away from it. And I'm not saying romance is all bad... you'll just have to read to understand what I mean. There's too much I have to say on the matter to explain here in the artist's comments. ^-^ In the comic, we're going to have a focus on the book of Ecclesiates, talking about how so many things are as pointless as chasing after the wind.

Tools of the trade: I used prisma marker for the sky, ink pens for Larry and Petunia and the mountains (and the rest of the outlines, for that matter), prismacolor pencil for the color... and for the stars? You're going to laugh at me, but I watered down some tempura, got one of my old yucky toothbrushes, and used my thumb to flick on the stars. xD That's my biiiiig secret... actually, I read it in a 'How to Draw Manga' book. I will never be scared of drawing another nightscape again. ^_^
