oh man i love the design of these tanks as well, gives it that ergonomic feel, and on top of that the little details are suculent, the little red marks the number i love that sort of details it just makes it come to life.

Love the shape of these tanks, very distinct and functionally convincing. As others have noted it would be, theoretically, great to deflect shells with a shape like this but, also, it just gives the design a very uniquely appealing visual silhouette

I dig!

this design is referenced to the actual evolution of WW2 tanks.

>which grid function on light tank grid?
Excuse me, I'm not sure.my english is poor.

The following is a translation software.

left heavy tank grid,
this heavy tank armor is modular spaced armor,
Interior space has been divided into blocks,
can used as diesel fuel tank.
grid is Where refuel? marker for understanding.

P.S. WoT is good game! большой!

I am sorry to trouble you!
I got it.
the back light tanks mesh,
I've Been Thinking
can scarcely look...

light tanks mesh is equivalent to Cage armor.
The ability to protect them from "HEAT".

Halfwiccan [2011-08-21 01:50:56 +0000 UTC]

It's really interesting and wise concept man. Shape like this makes tank less vulnerable, because because most of the shells will ricochet from this round armor - I guess this was a feature of most of our tanks.

Oh, and there is a third caterpillar! So, it's like super heavy breakthrough tank like object 279, but WWII-styled. What caliber of it's gun? 122 or 152?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

QU-RO-QURO In reply to Halfwiccan [2011-08-21 02:14:55 +0000 UTC]

yes!
This tank is inspired from "object 279"
gun is "130 mm/50 B-13"
