I was always taught that its bad manners to chew with your mouth open...i guess this wee Cotton Topped Tamarin hasnt quite got the hang of it...This is one of the free roaming animals at South Lakes Wildlife Park.[link]

Yep,its quite odd to have them,3 species of Lemur ,Llamas,Emus,Prairie Dogs and some small deer all wandering about in the public area Dave...

No, no. Why would I be jealous? We used to be able to get within 20 ft of the Ringtailed Lemurs at our zoo, if we leaned over the fence and positioned our lenses just right between the bars.

Well, I'm going to be passing through England, for the first time, next month. But, it's only a stopover on my way to Poland. Some day, I'd love to spend a few weeks traipsing around England.

Well, I'm a direct descendant of the Woodburys of Woodbury Castle, but I don't think I have any rich relatives, unfortunately. As I understand it, even the castle is just an overgrown ruin. But, yeah, I'd love to see all of the Isles.

I thought it sounded disappointing, but I guess it depends on your expectations. I hear "castle", and I think of something more like Windsor, and less like a mound of dirt. But, it could be interesting historically.

Good point,its really an Iron Age hill fort,so calling it a castle is a bit strong,but its all part of the rich tapestry of our History
They do say "An Englishmans home is his Castle".....but that not really true..it should be "A Frenchmans seat of oppression is his Castle"
