It is indeed,i am in the East of the UK,we do get a lovely range of weather and climate conditions without being too extreme

That sounds wonderful. I'm in the middle of the US and we get all kinds of extreme weather. It would be nice to live in a place not so hectic, weather wise. LOL

We get Summer highs of 90f and then not that often,and Winter lows of 20f,so its pretty reasonable.....if we get 5 days of Snow in the Winter its unusual..(its Norfolk UK).

I'd kill for just five days of snow. It's pretty to look at, not so much fun to have it around for months. I'm in the middle of Missouri and this winter we got 25 inches dumped on us in one night.

It was horrible. Have work canceled for about a week, same with school for my roommates kid. I'm just happy we had some notice and went to the store before it happened. We were snowed in for that whole week.

Sometimes, I grew up with a lot of other kids around, my mom did in home day care, so I'm used to having kids around. Just happy they arn't mine. LOL!

Oh yes! We got about an inch of ice with this storm. I work at a medical school/college and in my 30 years there, I could only remember one day that the campus has closed due to weather. This time we've been off 3 days now so far. It's very difficult to chip through an inch of ice and the salt mixtures don't work due to the temperatures being so low. Plus we got some snow on top of that. And more snow is predicted for next week. Yippee!

It doesn't look that way. Snow can at least be removed eventually but there is no control or traction for your vehicle on ice! That scares me!
