Beautiful work of art. I love the colors and geometric shapes. Curious....what are "inktense blocks"?
Thanks for sharing.

Derwent produce Inktense pencils which are like watercolour ones but with vivid ink instead - now they`ve bought out the blocks here`s the info [link]

Ohhh....that's what those are. I've seen these in the hobby store (and I might even have some at home in my art supplies). I've never used them because I wasn't sure how they would react with colored pencils or watercolors.
What are your experiences combining Inktense pencils and colored pencils? Is there anything I should be aware of? Do the colors bleed together or rub off easily? Do you treat your paper afterwards (e.g. with a fixative)?

Inktense pencils work as normal watercolour-pencils, the colour doesn`t run after its dry so can layer watercolour-type washes over each other. They do an outliner pencil that stops the wet colour run. Don`t treat it afterwards its just like watercolour really. Even the pencil shavings when sharpeninhg can be sprinkled onto wet paper for great background - guess I might do a tutorial on it as would be a great excuse for playing with them as they`re usually upstairs whilst I`m drawing downstairs. Would say that the pencils are easier to use than the blocks
