Description Another card! Some sort of dragon... first time I've used a metallic colored pencil though! even though I've had them for years! The silver is much better in person... I kinda lean towards blues and greens in my dragons it seems. Anywho!
made with: the usual: colored pencils and black inking pen

wah! duplicity! err... I have a lot of colors too choose from?... It seems like every grade school year I was to lazy to find my old ones and we got another box. Now that I've finally scraped down the layers of mess I found them all, and can't fit them anywhere T__T

Now that is really different - beautiful! Its a shame more of the shine didn't translate through the scanning, but I can just imagine how that would look in real life!

thanks! XD It does look better in person, the shininess of the sliver gives it almost a 3-D effect. >w< I had never really thought of using metallics before but I think I may employ them more often.

They can work really nice on the final product - unfortunately, scanners don't usually pick them up.

very pretty, as usual. i find the metallic pencils really dont translate to scans very well. they only work in the right light. i try to just shade metallic parts to get the effect, and use the metallic pencils for added bonus. i really like the fading colors of the green and blue. thats very smoothly done, and nice and subtle.

thanks! And thanks for the tip too, I really don't know how to use metallics but I think I will try your technique. ^ ^ It will certainly make them look better!
