Well Sela did show her a much more darker take of Cinderella thanks to Belinda's trickery plus it clearly states in Cinderella revisited that Cindy wanted to be a Princess like Cinderella but she took on the role of the Wicked stepmother instead so that's probably why, which would also explain how she was so easily manipulated by Malec.

In the Grimm version, when the prince visits Cinderella's house in order to test the shoe, the step-mother has her daughters cut off their toes so that the shoe will fit. I presume that's where the blood comes from.

I am a writer, and am currently working on a novel: "Cinderevil." I was trying to find an image for a cover, and stumbled across yours.
With some editing, I turned it into a cover, planning to post the URL giving the website credit. However, I discovered that it was not a random post, but an actual picture drawn by a real person - a fellow deviantARTist, no less. I knew then that I would have to give credit to you.
"Grimm fairy Tales color" is an amazingly rendered picture and is perfect for my cover. I understand that I should have asked you for permission to use your artwork beforehand, but I did not know at the time that the artist could be traced. I would be greatly honored if you'd allow me to use your photo; if not, I completely understand, and will immediately take down the cover.
I wish for you to know that I gave you credit and even posted the URL to this page in the summary of my novel. I would love to use "GfTc"; it reflects my story perfectly (a twisted version of Cinderella). If you do not wish for me to use it, as I stated before, I completely understand. Please reply with whatever decision you have chosen to make.
