Description The rain came down slowly, but inside the guild, everyone was safe. Natsu was bored out of his skull as usual.

"God, what is this!? The board is empty! I want to go on a mission!" Natsu said.

"Well, who was the one that nearly got us thrown out of the council of guilds because he destroyed the council's building!?" Gray retorted in anger. "We'll be damn lucky if we get any jobs the rest of this year."  Lucy tried to calm Natsu down in vain.

"Relax! We haven't had a break in months. I for one like the peace and quiet." Lucy said. About a minute later, a man appeared in a dark cloak. He then spotted Lucy and went up to her.

"I have an assignment that is exclusively for you. May we discuss this in private?" He said to her.

"Sure." Lucy replied. They went to a separate room in the guild. The man locked the door after entering.

"My master has been cursed. Even though he is fine now, in six weeks he will be dead. He has authorized the giving of his most prized possession to a summoning mage if she will be his companion for an evening." He told Lucy.

"Isn't there a way to remove the curse?" Lucy asked.

"The only way involves an extinct bird. Unless you can come up with a live Darrius goose, my master is doomed." The man said. Lucy knew that couldn't be done.

"So what do I get in return for being with him?" Lucy asked.

"The key to Ophiuchus." The man replied. Lucy went wide-eyed at this. She knew Ophiuchus the serpent barer was a very rare key.

"Ophiuchus the serpent barer!? That is one of the rarest keys ever! Every summoning mage wants one!" Lucy said.

"You must be his companion for a week." The man said. "Since his curse, he has been very lonely."

"Is this curse the kind that can affect others?" Lucy asked.

"It hasn't so far." He replied.

"Hmm... Well, I'll go for it." Lucy said.

"The master will be pleased." The man said.

Lucy packed her stuff up and set out with Natsu following her. He ended up carrying most of her stuff.

"So what's this guy like?" Natsu asked.

"I only know what the man told me." Lucy said.

"I'll bet he's some dirty old man." Natsu said. "He'll be trying to paw you worse than Taurus."

"I don't really think he will." Lucy said. "And if he tries, he'll definitely regret it."

"Well, we'll see when we get there." Natsu said.

Upon arriving at the town, Lucy and Natsu were directed to a cottage on a hill at the edge of town. Lucy knocked on the door and a bishonen man answered the door.

"Ah, you must be the mage that I sent for. Come in, come in." He said. Lucy entered, but Natsu found he could not enter the place, although what he was carrying did, falling on the floor. The door then slammed shut on Natsu's face.

"Hey! Wait a minute! What is going on here!?" Natsu demanded. He then pounded on the door.

"Let me in there!" Natsu shouted in vain. Suddenly Natsu found his torso surrounded by a ball of ice. He then fell backwards, and rolled down the hill, bumping and getting hurt all the way.

Inside, Lucy was made comfortable on a lavish couch and served tea.

"Allow me to introduce myself. I am Tsuinosumika. And your name is...?" He asked.

"Lucy." Lucy replied.

"Lucy... That is a beautiful name." He replied. Lucy smiled slightly at this.

"Aw... But I have to wonder, what exactly is it that I'm supposed to do here?" Lucy asked.

"My family is coming to visit tomorrow. This may be the last time that I ever see them. They don't know about the curse. I told them I was in love with a beautiful blonde summoning mage. Unfortunately, the real woman that I loved left me when I told her of my curse. I need you to pose as her." He said. Lucy didn't respond immediately.

"I... I need to think about this. I mean, I hardly know you..." Lucy said.

"Don't worry, I got most of the bases covered. I told them you were from a guild in a nearby town and that we don't get to see each other much." He said.

"Well, okay..." Lucy said. "But I'll need to get to know you a lot more."

"Of course. My life is an open book for you." Tsuinosumika said.

"All right, you leave me no choice!" Natsu said. He was quite frustrated as his attempts to enter the place were thwarted. Natsu flamed up his hand and proceeded to use the fist of the dragon on the door. When he hit it, there was a loud crack.

"AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!! My hand!!!" Natsu screamed in pain. Natsu broke a couple of bones in his hand with this move. He grabbed his hand and held it, screaming in pain. It took a bit before he calmed down enough to realize he'd been seriously hurt.

Damnit, who knows what he's doing to Lucy! Natsu thought. He knew he'd have to see a doctor - then he'd be back.

Inside, Lucy was laughing and giggling like a schoolgirl. She had completely forgotten about Natsu, mainly because Tsuinosumika was actually listening to her, which Natsu rarely if ever did. Lucy really liked what she was hearing from him.

"Man, where have you been all my life? I wish I had met you long ago." Lucy said. "Don't you like him, Natsu?" She then looked to see that there was a pile of luggage on the floor, and Natsu was nowhere to be found.

"Natsu? Oh, where is that idiot." Lucy said with annoyance. She looked through the pile of luggage, but didn't find him.

"Natsu? Okay, fun is fun, but I am getting annoyed now." Lucy said sternly. She then shook her head.

"Fine. If you're going to be a big baby about this, I'm going to ignore you." Lucy said.

"Who's Natsu?" Tsuinosumika asked.

"A co-worker from my guild." Lucy said. "He's brash and annoying, but he's also very talented and loyal."

"You mean he didn't come in with you?" Tsuinosumika asked.

"I thought he was with me." Lucy said. "I'll bet he's off somewhere doing something. He's a lot like that." Tsuinosumika stroked his chin in contemplation.

"Hmm... The only reason he wouldn't have been able to enter is if he was brash and had anger management problems." Tsuinosumika said. "I cast a spell to keep those kind out because I had one almost destroy the place once."

"That's what Natsu is." Lucy said.

"Well, I really don't want to let someone like that in here. However, if your friend won't stop until he gets in, I suppose I should dispel things." Tsuinosumika said. He then waved his hand. He then opened the front door to see nobody was outside.

"Your friend seems to have left." Tsuinosumika said.

"Typical. He was always an irresponsible idiot." Lucy said.

Natsu was back at the guild, running around haphazardly and screaming.

"IT WAS A TRAP!! LUCY'S BEEN KIDNAPPED!!" Natsu said. "Who knows what kind of foul things he's doing to her now!"

"Natsu, we check these things over before sending someone out there. The guy who gave that quest was in a friendly guild." The guild master said.

"But - I tried to go into the home - and it wouldn't let me in!" Natsu said.

"I'll go check things out." Ezra said. Natsu followed her out of the place.

Back with Lucy, just before dinnertime Tsuinosumika asked her if she wanted to make dinner for them. Lucy said yes and he showed her to the kitchen. His pantry was stocked with a bunch of fresh vegetables and fruits.

"I hope you can work with this. I am a vegetarian." Tsuinosumika said.

"Sure, no problem." Lucy said. She then picked out some vegetables and began to start chopping them...

Meanwhile, Natsu and Erza had arrived back at the cottage of Tsuinosumika and  Natsu was readying himself to attack. Natsu readied a large ball of fire and was about to throw it when Erza gave him a hefty smack to the top of the head.

"Don't go off half-cocked, Natsu. Remember he has a hostage." Erza said. She then went to the door. Just as she was about to kick in the door, Tsuinosumika opened the door. Erza ended up giving him a foot to the stomach.

"OOF!" Tsuinosumika said as he grabbed his midsection. Erza then got a good look at him.

"Tsuinosumika?" Erza asked.

"Erza... Long... Time... No... See..." Tsuinosumika replied before collapsing onto the ground.

"Oh..." Erza replied. She then helped Tsuinosumika stand up, while shooting Natsu a dirty look.

"It's okay, Erza. I left a protection spell up that blocked him. Come in, everyone. Lucy is making dinner if you're hungry." Tsuinosumika said. They went in and Tsuinosumika went to Lucy.

"Lucy, some of your fellow Fairy Tail guild members are joining us. We got dinner for four now." Tsuinosumika said.

"Okay. No problem here." Lucy said. The others went into the living room and sat down.

"So you've been cursed permanently." Erza said.

"Yea. I managed to defeat the leader of this evil guild, and then a group of his followers took revenge on me. I fought with them, but I wasn't able to stop them from cursing me." Tsuinosumika said.

"Are you sure there's no way to remove this?" Erza asked.

"It's the Kittling of Ytterbium." Tsuinosumika said. "To remove it, you need a full, live Darious goose."  Erza grimaced.

"How were they able to do that? That magic is supposed to need some extinct plants." Erza asked.

"That I don't know. All I know is I have this curse, and I can't get rid of it. However, now that you're here, there are a few things I want to give to you for safe keeping." Tsuinosumika said.

"Like what?" Erza asked.

"The seal of Aurugos, for starters. Then there's the Tantomount block." Tsuinosumika said.

"I see." Erza said.

"What are you talking about?" Natsu asked.

"The Tantomount block is a method of fortune telling. If opposite forces are used on it at the same time, a spirit will come forth and give a piece of advice about the future that anyone in the area needs." Tsuinosumika said. "In the right hands, it can be very useful. In the wrong ones, it will be disastrous."

"Oh man! I wanna try it out!" Natsu said.

"What opposing forces could you muster?" Tsuinosumika asked. Natsu stopped for a moment.

"Hmm... I... Didn't think of that." Natsu said. Erza facepalmed.

"You could try asking Gray to help you activate it." Erza said, her tone clearly showing her annoyance with Natsu. Natsu gritted his teeth at her.

"Gray!? I'd rather undergo punishment again than deal with him!" Natsu said.

"So? He's ice and you're fire! I don't understand why you two won't get along!" Erza snapped at Natsu as she gave him  a healthy blow to the head. After all, there is only so much stupidity a mage can take.

At this point, Lucy mercifully came in.

"Dinner is served." Lucy said. Everyone went to the dining table and sat down. Lucy noticed that Natsu had a swollen bump on his head.

"I'm surprised he was able to go this long without getting hit in the head." Lucy commented under her breath. Natsu was too busy eating to notice.

After dinner, Tsuinosumika and Erza were alone in his room. The two of them seemed a bit nervous.

"So, do you have any regrets about things?" Tsuinosumika asked.

"No. I made my decision back then, and I stand by it." Erza said.

"Well, it is too late to go back now. Still, we've both matured quite well. You've become far more powerful than I thought you would." Tsuinosumika said.

"Yea. My main problem these days is having to baby-sit him." Erza said, referring to Natsu.

"What do you mean baby-sit me!? I can take care of myself!" Natsu said with anger.

"Oh really? Just who was the one who decided to do an S-rank mission without authorization!?" Erza retorted.

"I could have handled it." Natsu said smugly. Erza replied with another nasty blow to the head.

"Now now, the boy's never going to learn if you keep bashing his brain around like that." Tsuinosumika said. "Bash him in the stomach like this." With that, Tsuinosumika gave Natsu a healthy blow to the stomach. Natsu went down like a sack of lead.

"Hmm... You may have a point with that." Erza said.

"Hey! What... The... Hell...?" Natsu gasped.

"Well, I'm not the one being an idiot around here, now am I?" Tsuinosumika said. "Only someone with a death wish or an idiot would take on an S-rank quest without permission."

"Ow..." Natsu said in pain.

"Besides, this conversation is private." Tsuinosumika announced. Natsu sulked as he left.

"You really seem to attract the impulsive ones." Tsuinosumika said.

"Not that I like them. Must be some divine punishment for something." Erza said.

"Well, I think this curse might be the same thing." Tsuinosumika said. "I would have rather be punished in increments like you than all at once."

"We all have our crosses to bear." Erza said. At this point, Lucy came in. Natsu took her arm and pulled her away.

"Come on. These two want to be alone." Natsu said with contempt.

"Wha - oh." Lucy said as Natsu dragged her away.

"Lucy, I think there's something wrong with this guy." Natsu said.

"Well, he is dying from a curse, duh!" Lucy said.

"No, I mean something other than that!" Natsu retorted. "Don't you think he's being a bit too friendly to you and Erza?"

"Erza knows and trusts the guy. That's good enough for me." Lucy said. "You're jealous because we like him more."  The way Natsu reacted, you'd have thought Lucy told him she had shot his mother.

"JEALOUS!? I AM NOT JEALOUS OF HIM!!" Natsu said, flaring up like a gasoline fire.

"Then why are you so angry now?" Lucy asked. Natsu stopped for a moment.

"Well - It's just that - oh, I don't know!" Natsu said.

"You're reading too much into the situation." Lucy said. "I think you're just jealous."

"I'll prove you wrong! I'm going to fight him!" Natsu said. Lucy was fed up with Natsu, and so she gave him a healthy whack on the head.

"Listen mister, you had better not lay a finger on him!" Lucy said with anger.

"I'm gonna fight him and prove to you he's not what he says he is!" Natsu said. He then stormed away.

"Damn idiot." Lucy muttered.

Inside, things were getting late, Erza and Tsuinosumika were talking.

"Well, if you want to spend the night, I'm afraid you'll have to share with Lucy... or go to the inn down the road. A nice room is about 70 jewel a night from what I hear." Tsuinosumika said.

"Sounds good." Erza said.

"Speaking of Lucy, I wonder where she and that other guy went?" Tsuinosumika said.

"Knowing those two, she's probably giving him a healthy smack on the head." Erza said.

"Heh-heh. Not unlike you and Mira, isn't it?" Tsuinosumika said. Erza nodded.

"Well, unlike that, Mira and I are friends now." Erza said.

"Yea. Well, maybe we should look for those two." Tsuinosumika said.

"I suppose so... The gods know Natsu will get into trouble if left to his own devices." Erza said.

"Some guys are just fated that way." Tsuinosumika said. Well, they went outside and found Natsu arguing with Lucy.

"You are a total idiot!" Lucy said.

"Now now, we're all on the same side, we shouldn't fight." Tsuinosumika said.

"You! I challenge you to a fight!" Natsu said, pointing at Tsuinosumika.

"Tomorrow, okay? It's late and I wish to rest. It's been a long day." Tsuinosumika said.

"No! I want to fight you right now!" Natsu replied. Erza struck Natsu in the head again.

"Ah, remember what I said, Erza." Tsuinosumika said.

"Oh yea." Erza replied. She then gave Natsu an elbow to the stomach.

"I'm going to the inn nearby. Good night, everyone." Erza said.

"Good night, Erza." Lucy said.

Next morning, Natsu was out early and raring to fight. After breakfast, Natsu appeared in front of Tsuinosumika's home.

"All right mister!! You're dead meat now!!" Natsu said. "Come out and face me if you dare!!" There was a short pause, and then Natsu advanced on the place.

"If you're not going to come out, I'm coming in!" Natsu shouted. He then proceeded to surround his fists with fire. However, just as he was swinging his arms, Lucy opened the door. Natsu smacked Lucy in the jaw before he even knew it. Lucy was knocked down and dropped her keychain.

"Hey! What the HELL was that for!?" Lucy shouted in anger.

"Come on! I know you're in there! Come out and fight!" Natsu said, ignoring Lucy. Lucy wasn't amused by this. She gave Natsu a healthy blow to the head.

"Haven't you ever heard of knocking!? I swear, you're going to get yourself killed if you don't learn to control your anger!" Lucy said. Natsu recovered and went past Lucy.

"Come on you liar!! I wanna fight you now!" Natsu said. At that point, Tsuinosumika entered, holding a toothbrush in his hand. He appeared to have been brushing his teeth.

"Honestly, can't you have some patience? A guy has to brush his teeth after a meal." Tsuinosumika said.

"YOU!! Fight me now!!" Natsu demanded.

"Wait until I finish brushing my teeth." Tsuinosumika said.

"NO! You have -" Natsu was cut off by Lucy smacking him in the head again.

"If he says wait then you wait! I swear, you have no patience at all!" Lucy snapped at him.

A bit later, Natsu met outside with Tsuinosumika. Erza and Lucy were sitting on the side of the area watching.

"All right, we'll have this fight of yours." Tsuinosumika said. "Let's see you go." Natsu flamed up his hands and charged at Tsuinosumika. Just when Natsu was just outside of striking distance, Tsuinosumika jumped up and waved his hands.

"Switch!" Tsuinosumika said. He then traded places with Natsu. Natsu found himself crashing to the ground and creating a large trench.

"Teleportation makes it very difficult to hit your opponent." Tsuinosumika said. Natsu then had a wooden crate smack him in the back.

"Did I mention I could teleport objects as well?" Tsuinosumika asked. Natsu then recovered and charged again. Tsuinosumika teleported him past himself and close to a stone wall. Natsu crashed into the wall and fell down.

"You know, a great warrior can never win unless he uses his brain." Tsuinosumika said. "Although in your case, you've probably been so clueless that you've had one too many blows to the head." This assessment made Natsu even angrier. Natsu came at Tsuinosumika with his fists on fire. However, before he got to Tsuinosumika, he sent flames all throughout the area. Erza and Lucy had to duck to avoid being hit. Tsuinosumika was hit even after he teleported and knocked back. Tsuinosumika recovered, but was singed.

"Oh, you hit me good there. Now I will endeavor to repay you in kind." Tsuinosumika said. Natsu attacked again, spreading fire all around the place. Tsuinosumika teleported out and then teleported in next to Natsu. A swift kick to the gut and a few punches later by both sides, and both went down for the count. After this, Lucy went up to Natsu.

"Are you done with your testosterone-filled exercise in futility yet?" Lucy asked.

"It's but a scratch." Natsu said before passing out. Tsuinosumika was out cold as well. Erza picked him up and carried him inside.

"Men. I'll never get them sometimes." Lucy said.

"I gave up trying long ago." Erza said as she left.

Later on, everyone revived and things were back to normal... Well, as normal as they could get. Tsuinosumika asked Lucy to help him sell some things, which she did. Afterwards, he gave her the key to Ophiuchus.

"I got this defeating a powerful wizard. Use it wisely." Tsuinosumika said. Lucy took the key and added it to her keychain.

"Well, it's time to go. We've got missions to fulfill." Erza said.

"It's a shame to see you go. Well Erza, we'll always have Solsbury Hill." Tsuinosumika said. Lucy went wide-eyed at this.

"Solsbury Hill? What is he talking about?" Natsu asked.

"You went to Solsbury Hill with him?" Lucy rubbed her hands together, smiled and got close to Erza. "Details, girlfriend, I want details!" Erza wasn't the kind to kiss and tell though.

"That's none of your business." Erza said with a frown. Lucy's smile turned into an expression of disappointment.

"Aw man, just when I thought I could find out something good about you." Lucy said.

"What we did was a private thing. I don't want to talk about it." Erza said.

"That's no fun." Lucy said with a sour expression.

Upon returning to the guild, Lucy was eager to make her pact with Ophiuchus. She came in and held up the key.

"I got it! Ophiuchus the Serpent bearer!" Lucy said.

"Ooh, that's a rare key." Mira said.  "So your mission was successful?"

"It was easy." Lucy said. Lucy then waved the key in a downward stroke.

"I summon thee, Ophiuchus!" She said. The gate opened, and Ophiuchus appeared and had with him a large boa constrictor. He looked around the place, and then smiled. Lucy blushed at the sight of Ophiuchus. She couldn't help but stare at his sexy pecs and washboard stomach. Ophiuchus was dressed in a muscle shirt and shorts.

"Well, you are very cute." Ophiuchus said. Lucy was quite elated with these words. Little did she know...

"Finally, someone who appreciates my looks!" Lucy said. She went off into her own little world, with stars in her eyes. "I'm flattered that you think I am cute, but we should first do the ceremony, don't you think?" Lucy also failed to notice that Ophiuchus had gone past her and was staring at Natsu. Naturally, Natsu wasn't thrilled by this.

"Well, I think you're cute too. Maybe we could go out after the ceremony and then -" Lucy said while in her own little world still. Natsu cut her off.

"Whoa! Hey, I don't swing like that!" Natsu said. He found himself having an arm of Ophiuchus around him.

"Aw, c'mon! Don't knock it until you try it!" Ophiuchus said to Natsu. By now Lucy had snapped out of things and was not amused in the least by Ophiuchus' behavior. Her smile quickly turned into a frown.

"Hey! I'm the one that summoned you! You're supposed to be forming a pact with me!" Lucy said sternly.

"I don't like girls." Ophiuchus said dismissively.

"Lucy, get this nut away from me!" Natsu said as he tried to get away from Ophiuchus. Lucy went up to Ophiuchus and gave him a hefty punch to the jaw.

"Listen mister, when I summon a celestial being it's not so that he can hit on someone else!" Lucy said with anger. Ophiuchus also got a fist of the dragon to the stomach courtesy of Natsu.

"Go back!" Lucy demanded. Ophiuchus was not happy in the least.

"Oh, you two are no fun at all." Ophiuchus said. "I'm going somewhere so that I can be what I am." He then vanished.

"Well, looks like this mission wasn't such a good thing." Natsu said.

"Well, I did get some pampering from Tsuinosumika." Lucy said. "I just wish he didn't have to die."

"GET THIS SNAKE OFF OF ME!!" A voice shouted nearby. Ophiuchus' boa constrictor had wrapped itself around Levy.

"Jussssst relax." The snake hissed. Natsu smacked it in the jaw with a fist of the dragon.

"Let her go!!" Natsu demanded. The snake let go of her and faced Natsu.

"You are no fun." The snake hissed.

"Snake, return!" Lucy demanded, waving her hand. The snake then vanished.

"Lucy, do us a favor and don't summon him again." Levy said.

"I won't unless I have no choice." Lucy said.

They had brought the fortelling stone to the guild as well. Natsu had dropped it after Ophiuchus came up to him. However, Natsu went up to Gray and looked at him.

"This is a fortune telling stone.

Natsu and Gray used their powers on the block at the same time. Initially, a mist formed around the block. This grew larger until they saw a very sexy babe showering.

Too many nosebleeds to count ensued. Not a dry male nose was left in the room, and a couple of female ones bled as well. Lucy and Erza looked downhearted.

"What the hell!? How DARE you summon me! I'm trying to shower here!" The spirit said. She then gave Natsu and Gray a roundhouse kick, and then quickly vanished. "Try me again in two hours!" Mira merely shook her head.

"My, my. You guys just can't keep your minds out of your pants, can you?" She said.

"You should have expected this from them by now." Erza said.

"True." Mira said.

Two and a half hours later...

Everyone had recovered and then Natsu and Gray tried again. The mist formed again and out stepped the same woman, only she was now clothed.

"Okay, you want the advice, I'll give it to you." She said. She went to Natsu first.

"Oh man, aren't you a work of crap? Better control your temper or it will bite you hard." She said to him.

"Work of crap!? What the HELL do you mean by that!?" Natsu said in anger.

"See? This is exactly what I'm talking about." She said. Natsu fumed silently as she went to Erza.

"Beware! The vaulting ambitions of others will cause you great misfortune and trouble." The spirit said.

"Tell me something I don't know." Erza said. The spirit then went to Lucy.

"Hmm... I feel sorry for you, I really do. Getting what you want in life will cause you to be put between a rock and a hard place." The spirit said. The spirit then went over to Dray.

"I see... Well, you're really wasting your time desiring her. She doesn't love you." The spirit said. Dray fell over sideways in shock, looking wide-eyed in the process. The spirit came up to Mira next.

"There are those who love you for yourself, and those who love you for how you look. Finding the right man is knowing who loves you for you." The spirit said. It then went to the guildmaster.

"Much have you seen and done in life. Yet the challenges ahead for you will prove difficult indeed." The spirit said. "But Annabelle wants to see you again." The guildmaster went wide-eyed at this.

"Annabelle? I haven't heard that name in years." The guildmaster said. The spirit then went up to Levy.

"Ah,the writer Just remember to allow yourself to go wild now and then." The spirit said. She finally went up to Gray.

"Considering what you've said so far to everyone, I think I'm better off not knowing what you want to say." Gray said.

"Juvia likes you." The spirit said anyway. "Only she can truly help you calm the darkness and melt the ice. Now I gotta go. I got me a hot date with a really cute guy." With that, the spirit vanished.

"Man, I am jealous." Lucy said. "I want a cute guy too."

"Don't we all." Levy said.
