Beautiful.Β The lighting and mood are phenomenal, I like the contrast between the bright color of her hair and the desaturated darkness.Β The character herself is lovely, and you've done a great job with her hair, outfit, pose and expression.Β That twisted tree is a nice touch, it really helps define the mood while framing the image.
When I look at this it reminds me of a line from Lord of the Rings: "May it be a light to you in dark places, when all other lights go out."Β The situations are not really analogous, but I think both the line and the image draw on the idea that a single light can defy the darkness both literally and metaphorically.

As long it will be there a light who shine somewhere, even if it's only a tiny little flame, I tell myself that all hope is not totally lost.
But this little flame is dangerously wobbling lately, and this, more and more...
