This is looking quite cool! Personally, I feel like there could be a few more bigger stars that are visible without watching the image in full-size. But that's only a minor thing.
If possible, it'd be great if you could go over the planets a little more; their texture is so subtle that it's barely visible. Also, I'm not quite sure about the drop-shadow the left planet casts. It just doesn't feel right.
Other than that, it's a great piece. I dig the nebs

Yea shadows have been the hardest thing to do on a PS planet, ever since they changed the lighting tools it just hasn't been the same.
I will be going back and making a few changes here and there like the shadow, oh and that's the MAX texture on the planets, the only thing i can think of is make them a bit bigger, hmm might do that O.o
The stars i will be going back to, i just don't like them >.< and your right they need more Pop or something.

As for the texture, you can always resort to painting
Or, overlay multiple images to get large details as well as smaller ones

yea i would like to try painting but, i don't have a Wacom tablet and its pretty much impossible to paint with a mouse >.<
