Description I like summer, I like that I can just put on my shoes and go outside.
But I hate it when it gets too hot. The real bad thing about this is, that I can't escape the heat.
In winter I can layer the cloth until it's warm. But in summer I can only undress by that much and that's it.
The sweat drips down and you feel like you are melting in the heat.

Dude, you've said mountains in that single description. Sure, it gets hot out near Texas, California, and whatnot, but if you've never dealt with humidity...That's a whole other breed of heat. x.x It's the one reason I dread the summers here in NC.Β

I mean, uhm, I live in germany. So I really shouldn't complain, haha.
There are maybe 14 days in the year at maximum that are too hot for me and the humidity is always fine compared to your climate.
But I've visited a museum with an artificial climate system or something. So yea, I felt the hot humidity for some minutes and that was already awful as hell.
I can't imagine how it must be to live in such a climate

It cam be maddening at times, really. The only way I tolerate it, beyond distractions inside, are to do yard work or outside chores early in the morning, and just before dark. Anything else has to be very pressing to get me out and about without involving a vehicle with an excellent air conditioning system.

Oh yes, the cold air in the morning when it's hot summer

This is exactly me at work right now. Β It's 98 degrees with 96% humidity. Β It actually feels like you're breathing soup. Β Excellent drawing!

*converting into Celcius*
Oh god, that is horrible! And even worse with such high humudity...
It must be like hell to work in such a climate.

Pretty close. The humidity is what makes it the worst.

Exactly. This is exactly how I feel. I basically become the most lazy person in the world and the most whiny when I'm hot.

Hehe, yep, I know that feel. Luckily that doesn't happen too often here.

That's nice for you.Β

I live in a ridiculously hot country, so it's generally horrible in the summer. It's nice when there's a milder winter, though.

Ah, right. You americans have air conditioning. In germany it's not really worth it.
Not enough hot days here

If it's super hot, go for a swim in the pool!
You'llΒ  be cooled off enough, and won't notice the heat.
Nice work!

I love how the birds are just calmly flying around when your character melts in utter agony xD But yeah, you perfectly illustrated how I feel in the summer too. I'm perfectly fine with wearing only a t-shirt (besides other garments of course xD) in winter but when the summer heat strikes the only thing I can do is lie down and try to pretend I'm not dying.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Quantum-Artist In reply to Necrovivrea [2017-07-12 16:14:54 +0000 UTC]

Haha, totally not dying
But isn't it true? The birds are just flying up there like it's nothing
and we humans are groaning under them.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Necrovivrea In reply to Quantum-Artist [2017-07-12 16:34:31 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, it certainly seems so. For that, I'm envious of them xD Although I heard that a bird is more prone to dying of heat stress than cold stress so I don't think they are that different from us. They just complain lessΒ Β
