Description

Completed in 2644; the Kawachi Class Command Battleships are the grand rebirth of the Battleships from another era.

The Kawachi Class Battleship is the successor to the Kongo Classes which persisted through many decades always being on call to any fleet that was out-gunned and out-numbered and bring them back to a winning scenario.

The Kongo Class within the 4YW with the Klingons proved that when you need firepower, you get it. Within the 23rd Century, the class proved reliable enough to be used by Captains and Admirals as a fleet ship. In 2273; the entire class got refitted deviding into 4 sub-variants and the Standard Kongo Class Refit; the class got refitted again with new Nacelles and shield matrix as well as stronger armour.

The Class was still around during the 24th Century; not as many survived the scrapping of the class but their was enough for them to warrant an internal refit with LCARS Displays and faster warp drives. The Kongo Classes in the 24th Century assisted in the Dominion War after a weapons upgrade so they were on-par with Nagato and Excellious Classes.

The Kawachi Class is a testament of a design that can take a beating a give one in return.

The Class has equipped on it Transphased-Phaser Arrays Mk. XXXVIII; Quantum-Tricobalt Torpedoes Mk. XXXX; Multiphasic-Covariant Shield Array Mk.XXXXI; Nanite-Infused Armour (Borg Enhanced from 2648), The vessel also has Standardised for the class a Mk.XXXXXV Phased-Plasma Inducted Warp Core; Mk.XXXXXIII Erza-Alpha Hyper Impulse Drives and longer nacelles derivied from the Conarvion Class Heavy Crusier as much as it's own design adapting and modifiying Conarvion parts to create the new 'Kongo' Class for a new Era.

Total Vessels Built: 80 and all patrolling and maintaining peace within every quadrant and keeping enemies at bay.

Yes; FINALLY. Here is the 1,000th Deviation on DeviantArt; yes i made a 27th Century version of my good old Kongo Class Battleship; a ship that has both been liked by users & questioned by other users (until i explained why the Kongo Class is designed how it is).

Through out my time here on DA; i've met new friends, talked to some nice people who i like viewing who inspired some of my own works. Yea, there has been some bumps in the road through-out; but i will press on.
