A tragic fairytale loosely based on a many-layered real-life tragedy, about several of my best friends who suddenly passed away in their late 30s & 40s.

The fairytale is still in production, and will hopefully someday be part of my published fiction.

Playing with AI just to be able to explore visual ideas is pretty neat. I know what I WANT, and can write perfectly well, but so far have not been able to draw wolves or foxes at all. That technical failure of skill shouldn't mean I ought to be disqualified from writing stories that need illustrations of wolves and foxes; AI imagery just helps me focus on the quality of the story instead of wasting my time just fighting to make basic concept-sketches look more like a pretty little fox-fairy than a hock of ham. AI is just fancy, automated Photoshop. Not at all that I desire confusion between hand-drawn and computer synthesized artwork. there's plenty of room in this astonishing world for both. 🥹
