Description Admittedly, this was an exercise in fitting pokemon into types, rather than types into pokemon.

Physical Appearance: Poserit appears unique compared to most other pokemon; it has a half-human, half-reptilian appearance, with various markings around its body and an deep-blue aura surrounding it. Its skin is earthy in color, with green highlights at its eyes, head crest, rings, and markings. It walks on its knuckles in a sort of hunch, due to its forelimbs being longer and more flexible than its hindlimbs,
Despite first appearances, Poserit's eyes are not indicative of the stylized swirls of hypnosis or external control. Poserit's actual eyes are the small dots in the center of the wide parabola of an area surrounding them. In some form of evolutionary kluge, Poserit's eyes are small and difficult to use singularly as light-sensing organs, but the 'dish' collects light and reflects it toward the eyes.
The aura around Poserit's body can vary from being all but invisible to being visible and solid, depending on what Poserit needs it for. The aura is fair, visible, and intangible in most instances, turning solid in case of danger or some ethereal necessity. How visible the aura is also directly parallels the Poserit's health.

Habitat and diet: Poserits live in clusters of between eight and thirty individuals, dividing daily jobs among members by gender and age. Some male and female adults scrounge about for plants to eat. Other males keep watch around the land the Poserits live and occasionally discuss in congregation on any announcements and events. Other females tend to other domestic matters. Poserits live in many habitats with moderate climates, preferring places with foliage, to allow the construction of their residences. Groups of Poserits tend to ignore one another, a trait that seems to have no practical benefit. Individuals who interact with other clans' members are scorned and berated, though there is no particular reason for the dislike.
Poserits eat plants and occasionally, insects. Plants are seen as their main food of choice, being abundant in many consumable forms, whether they are shoots, leaves, brambles, or xylem. Insects are rare, being only eaten as a snack if possible. Poserits snatch whatever insect pokemon are in their proximity. It's common in Poserit groups for there to be a small contest to catch the most amount of insects, to test finesse and to gain treats at the same time.

Behavior: Poserits are surprisingly normal as far as behavior goes, seeing as they live in crowds and are fair as any other pokemon to trainers. There is no juju behind their odd typing, which speaking of, appeals to many trainers; many defensive pokemon cannot damage or linger a status onto Poserits, to which a Poserit can attack or boost its stats. Due to its partially ghostly nature, Poserits can trick the opponent with its influence to stimulate some sort of mind swap; not as perpetuated as one may think, but more of an induced, synchronized hypnotism, used to disorient the opponent or use its abilities against it.

Hmm, yep. Thought about this as an odd 'counter' of sorts to Normal- and Ghost-type walls in the pokemon metagame. I don't have a complete sense of how the metagame works, just an intermediate level, so any details on how this pokemon would fare would be nice.

Pokemon's mechanics are produced by Game Freak's creators, while my art is mine.

That aura... I would definitely want this, although I probably wouln't use it if there isn't a prevo/evo.

I just generally don't use pokemon unless they evolve. Gives me something to look forward too, I guess.

Oh. Well, my inspiration's for only one pokemon, unless there's some specific reason for me to have an evolution without exercising my creative limits. XD

But would you have any thoughts on the metagame with this pokemon?

Hmm. Well. I usually stick with the Pokemon I've used up until then for the metagame, so I'm probably not the best operson to ask. It seems to have good stats though, so it seems like a good choice.
