I'm so spazzing out right now! I don't think it's any secret that I've been waiting for this comic since it was first hinted at! 
I love how Horace calls you 'Boss' with such condescending quotation marks.

Well Horace and Hart being pirates I figure the last thing they'd call me is "mom" like most people's Neopets seem to. Boss seemed like a perfectly condescending alternative.

Eh, I hate the 'mom' thing with other comics. I prefer to leave myself out of my pet's lives entirely- but I think that's because I don't like drawing myself.

Ahh, during the peak of our Neopets time my sister and I loved Neopia so much we were convinced when we died we'd go there since everyone has their own interpretation of "Heaven" (shut up, we were dumb. >>) We always liked feeling a part of that world and our Neopets's lives.
Hart's "MOM" tattoo is a lame reference to the fact that I adopted him from the pound and took care of him. Those typical big buff types with the "Mom" tattoos are too much fun not to parody.

I used to draw myself in too, I loved being a 'family' but, as I said, I don't like drawing myself and I always feel like I'm lying to everyone because I draw myself as a cute 'chibi'-esque thing... not as the grotesque form I actually inhabit. XD
The tat suits him well and also the adorable story behind it makes me smile now.

Well hey, I need several pets and owners (since I don't want to be the ONLY human in my comics) to fill some space in the Sloth sequels, so if you want I can stick you and your pets in there but I'd need your account info and maybe a reference I could use.

The problem was with the submission form - I couldn't even get it in at all. I finally got some help from an NT-writers forum and successfully submitted it two weeks ago.
