Jaris in Sylveon for the Colour Challenge over on Tumblr!
Requested by Pawpillow. I was so happy for the excuse to draw him again after so long, especially as I can barely stand to look at his old art. The colour challenge was a lot more difficult than I had anticipated, and I think poor Jaris suffered for it being the first to go.

Old Jaris is back!! YAAAAY!!
Heheh, just so you know, I play Aion, and I have like, 6 Asmodian characters? Yeah. 2 males and 4 females (IS server, by the way!!!). And Aion had an update, or shall we say, expansion. Yep, 5.0 is here!!! So, Asmodians no longer have claws :c And soon they'll lose their manes!!! D:
Ok, ok, I know you don't play Aion anymore, but believe me when I say. Aion is getting WAY cooler!! We're not just "Daevas" anymore, we're Archdaevas!! But you only turn into an Archdaeva on lvl 66. Yep, level cap is 75 now. And, we have Element Transformations.
And last but not least. You know the Cataclysm? Well, let's say Israphel wanted to be the solo Empyrean Lord and went to the Artifact in the Tower of Eternity to activate it and destroy the other Empyrean lords. But Fregion (yes, the Dragon Lord) found him and "killed" Israphel and made the Artifact explode. But, there was this guy, the Protector of Atreia and Archdaeva, who we never knew about until after 5.0, who tried to remake the Artifact and the Tower. So, there goes Siel to stop time on the Tower of Eternity. Conclusion: Aion isn't a male god. Is actually Siel.
Yeaaaah, I'm a Aion trash. xD But anyways, I love your art!! Keep it up!! And blood for blood!!

I haven't played Aion in years, in fact the original Jaris doesn't exist anymore--he got deleted along with anyone else who didn't transfer their characters when they changed servers--so I have no idea what you are talking about. I don't know anything about gods or lore or who these people are.
Also it seems kind of stupid to remove their manes and claws ... then what's the point of playing an Asmodian?!

It's a shame you don't play Aion anymore. I mean, it would be HELLA FUN and very insteresting how would you/your characters (mostly Jaris) react to the new expansions and stuff. And, wait, Jaris got deleted?!?! NOOOOOOOOOOOO D:
Also, I KNOW RIGHT?! They only removed the claws though... but the mane is longer now!! It looks like a tail that curls on the tip, hehe xD

I was never a fan of the game anyway, I only played it to please my boyfriend at the time. The aesthetic didn't appeal to me, the designs of a lot of the creatures was sort of "eh", and most of the armour and weapons were just too crazy. I found it very "Asian" in style, and not just gameplay wise, but overall. As someone who's not a fan of manga or anime the visuals stuck out like a sore thumb and I couldn't ignore it.
And the grind at the time I was playing ... just impossible. 10/10 would not repeat.
The claws were the best part of the Asmodians--claws, dark wings, and glowing eyes. I wouldn't mind the manes disappearing, but from what you're telling me I don't regret quitting when I did.

Well, the games made by NCSoft are Asian (Korean to be exact, but still Asian). But I did understand what you meant xD
The armour and weapons are still crazy, but they look cooler now. Really.
And yep... claws are gone. But we still got the glowing eyes and dark wings!!
But I just can't WAIT to see that Pandaemonium Battlefield! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEHHH!!!
