Oh well, as it turns out nothing really got planned as far as Halloween goes over here. Most of my friends still in Singapore have national service, so they're unavailable for Western holidays, I guess. I'm not a horror movie fan, anyway.

I despise horror, and have little love for comedy... part of why I end up not watching many movies, seeing those are the two most popular in the US.
I'm probably having one or both of my sisters over, will probably just flip on the Wii, maybe let them get some time in on their respective Sims 3 games. If both come over, though, I'm screwed, because they will totally hijack the DVD player and put on a movie again, which will be, without a doubt, a horror movie of Steve's or Charlotte's in honor of Halloween...

Frankly if it's horror movies I'll do the same thing I did the last few years and cry behind a pillow until the spooky music goes away. Comedy is okay if it's got a good story to it, otherwise I don't watch many movies either. A lot of the comedy movies are just old recycled gimmicks done over and over even though the joke's tired.

I find a lot of American comedies to just be... stupid.
Horror, is similar, actually; for most of them, if you take away the spooky music, effects, and gore (and/or just look them up on Wiki), you end with a very stupid storyline.

They're all the same: a group of people in a scary situation, and/or monsters, they split up and the hot either die or get out okay.
