Word to the wise: don't listen to The Irish Rovers or Alestorm when you need to be churning out frames for an animation. I wound up sketching a blue, kilted, Kyrii-pirate instead.

So the difference between winter Horace and summer Horace is a popped-up collar? I'm not surprised- I can't believe he wears as many layers in hot weather as he does with all that fur! Maybe it's like an insulator?

Oh if I could color this or finalize it he'd be in a different coat, this getup was taken more from French highwaymen with the MASSIVE coat collars (oh, but how I love them!) and his tricorn's smaller and simpler. It's also no clear but he's wearing a coarse shirt underneath a la Braveheart.

I love how you draw his fluff--especially how it's all puffed up in his coat. He looks all snuggly in that coat. SO CUTE.

Alestorm was the inspiration for Horace all those years ago. I imagine him to have the singer's voice, all Scottishy and raspy and really deep for a Neopet.

Actually, that is an awesome cover. I love how they changed some of the lyrics to be more "badass", ohh those Scottish pirates! But do look up Keelhauled, Pirate Song, and Famous Old Spice. Those three in particular were Horace (and, to some extent, Hartifey) catalysts.
