Description
The Kha animal groups of the planet Nix are surprisingly similar to the mammalian creatures of Earth and Dragonworld in body structure and physical attributes. Notably different, however, is the Kha ability to have parts of the body with chitin-like structures. This material can be and often is iridescent. Nixians themselves are also part of the Kha phylum, and they have a small patch of iridescence on their foreheads.
This creature is some kind of relative of the Nixian race, belonging to a group of roughly cat-shaped carnivores with horn-like apparatus that I just call horn cats because I'm lazy. The ancestor of both this species and Nixians was a large ground dwelling horn cat that used echolocation. This guy however has evolved to live in the Thickening, the section of Nix's mile-high trees where there are many many close-knit branches.
Evolutionally speaking this guy is about as close to a Nixian as a spider monkey is to us.

The only pictures I have of Nixians in my gallery are horrible and out of date, otherwise I'd provide a link. Basically they look superficially like bipedal sabertooth cats.

I drew this mainly because I wanted to draw sumfink, but it turned into Nix zoology, hahaha..
