I can't believe you've at last updated after so long. (I totally get it, though). This is beyond words. This is honestly, I believe, one of your best paintings to date - a mix of a classic style with that of a modern one. I really want to say more. Gotta sit on this one for a bit, haha.

It's still nice to recognise a piece that may otherwise get overlooked. That's what I mainly use them for.
Here's my comment I attached to it as a head's up; not the best, bu whatevs: This is a provocatively emotive portrait that straddles the fine lines of the classic and modern periods of the art world, remaining simple in its composition yet succeeds in evoking plenty more through its character design and organic use of warm tones, all perhaps with the exception of her lips, the deep blue popping out among everything else.

I see so much good art on this site that doesn't get any attention, so I do try to feature them. Sometimes the staff overlooks it though not because it's not any good but because they're looking for something specific. Besides, I'm sure they're up to their neck in suggestions so they can't possibly pick everything. Sometimes you can resubmit a suggestion though.

Every artist experiences this at some point. A part of me is really craving to fall back on the classic styles I used to dabble with when I was younger.
